DIADEXUS TO PRESENT AT RODMAN & RENSHAW 8TH ANNUAL HEALTHCARE CONFERENCE

South San Francisco, CA - October 31, 2006 - Patrick Plewman, president and chief executive officer of diaDexus, will present an update on diaDexus and the PLAC® test at the Rodman & Renshaw 8th Annual Healthcare Conference at the New York Palace Hotel in New York City, Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006. The presentation will be held at 11 a.m. EST.

Biotechnology and life science investors, venture capitalists, company executives, scientists, and other industry leaders will attend the conference. The program will include presentations by more than 300 companies, as well as experts from the medical, scientific, and investment communities.
